From time to time it becomes necessary to turn off the water service to residential and business properties in order for the water department to repair a water main break. We no longer notify individual property owners when this occurs. We are sensitive, however, to the needs of our property owners and in the case of a medical necessity, we will do our best to contact you prior to turning off the water.
We ask that you provide us in writing with the medical reason and your contact information. Send the request to the attention of the Water Department at 23200 Gratiot Avenue, Eastpointe, MI 48021. Provide your name, address, and telephone number (cell phone number also if available). The information will be retained for one year. It is the property owners’ responsibility to notify the city every year if they need to remain on the emergency notification list.
FOR WATER BILL PAYMENTS, Make check out to the City of Eastpointe (include account number on the check).
